Mt. Maranat Adventure

Mount Maranat is a 2,708 ft / 826 m mountain peak near Rodriguez, Rizal, Philippines. Based on peakery data, it ranks as the 747th highest mountain in Philippines. The nearest peaks are Mount Holong Ipu, Mount Oriod, Mount Inuman, Mount Siam Bundoc, Siam Bundoc, and Rizal Peak.

DAY 1

December 29 2013, Our Year End Climb. Accompanied with Sir Ace And Kuya Ian and Other Mountaineers.

Tricycle ride upto the San Isidro checkpoint.

Start of walk

Trek to Mt. Maranat is approximately two to three hours depending on your pace. So because we are social climbers (literal) ,alam na hahahaha (kiddin)

Bamboo trees is everywhere.

Maranat Falls

Before you reach the campsite you need to pass this stage, the rocky river. (Buwis Buhay Stage)

You have choices naman:

- Rapelling

- River Cross 12feet deep

- Bouldering

or uwe na lang hahahha! ^^

Amazing Rock Formation and cold water.

Finally we arrive! Amazing experience.

At tatay Nestor, Campsite lots of Mountaineers gathered to rest.

start to build our tent to have some rest.

Mini Coffee Shop, love to zip a hot coffee while watching the sunset.

Lucky to witness how beautiful this place.

Night Activities in Campsite, Because This is a Yearend Climb. Moutaineers Gathered for some Chitchat and Inuman panlaban for the cold weather. Many Climbers preffered to climb night so marami pang dumating. Imagine napuno ng mountaneers ang campsite. Tent is everywhere!
