DAY 1

Say Hi to my travel buddies! Dan,Jae,Mamisha & Me "Pong"

Our Journey starts June 22,2016 Weds. We are all excited for this kind of journey.

11:20 AM: ETD - NAIA

12:40 PM: ETA - Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport (Tacloban, Leyte)

12:30 PM: ETD - Airport

We arrived early than as scheduled so we decided to find place where we can eat our lunch. Outside of the Airport there are lots of Carinderia to choose for.

1:00 AM: LUNCH

We need to full our tummy in preparations of a long long travel going up North!

1:20 PM: ETD - JEEPNEY GOING DOWNTOWN (VAN VAN TERMINAL)

From the Airport you can ride a jeepney going to Downtown ask Manong Driver to drop you off to Van van Terminal.
Fare: 13php each.

1:40 AM: ETA VAN VAN TERMINAL

We arrive At 1:40pm and van departed around 2pm

The cost of Van Van fare going to Calbayog was 120php per pax . The travel time would be approximately 2hrs.

While waiting for other passengers to arrive (picture muna!)

4:00 PM: ETA - Catbalogan

4:30 PM: ETD - Catbalogan to Calbayog

Good thing our van will be heading to Catbalogan so need to transfer we will just wait for passengers to arrive. 80php per pax

You can choose Gran tours as an alternative, bu the fare is a little bit expensive.

Another 2hrs travel going Calbayog... so sleep mode muna.

6:35 PM: ETA - Calbayog Gran Tours Terminal

7:00 PM: ETD - Calbayog to Allen

Approximately 6:35pm we arrive at Calbayog then we go directly to Gran tours Terminal to ride a van going to Allen fare 100php per pax

Calbayog to allen 1.5hrs

Departure time: 7pm

We arrived in Allen 8:30pm

Then ride a tricycle going to the Hotel (Forgot the name)

its actually on the Balwharteco Pier Area

10:00 PM: Late Dinner

11:00 PM: lights off

DAY 2

6:30 AM: Ride tricycle going to Lavezares

6:50 AM: Merkado (Public market) Boat schedule 7:00am to around 5:00pm

We are ready to go to Lavesarez then to Biri Island

The boat will leave once it was filled with passengers Fare 50php

Renting the entire boat normally costs between 500 to 800php

7:00 AM: ETD Lavezares-Merkado to Biri Island

Daing tao sa bagka... I think 20 people are onboard in this little boat.

8:00 AM: ETA Ride Habal-habal to find house for accommodation.

NOTE: Theres a lot of room accommodation to stay please ask locals for the cheapest

Electricity from 12am to 12pm/ some resorts uses generator for their guest.

8:20 AM: ETD to Glenda's Bed & Breakfast Room rate 1900php per nyt good for 4pax

The caretaker of Glenda's Bed & Breakfast cooked for our food 200-300php per meal/per pax or if you want affordable food you can eat at Biri Cooperative Ctr front of Biri Municipal Hall

9:30 AM: Start of Tour ( Our habal-habal driver will also serve as your personal tour guide. )

DAY 3

5:30 AM wake up call

6:30 AM Breakfast

7:00 AM start for Snorkeling

10-15mins away from our resort.

Kuya Don-don dive in to get lato (seaweeds)

Lato is a seaweed that has grape-like structure that is robust, crispy, watery, and slimy.

I don't know what it is, but its like a small talaba. Nilagyan lang niya ng suka, ok na pwede na siya kainin.
Ayoko siya i-try! hahahahaha

9:00 PM ETD then ride jeep going to Tacloban

10:00PM Got our Hotel at Lai Rico Hotel Downton Area ( we got a hard time looking for a hotel since all Hotel near in the airport are fully booked due Tacloban Festival we havent anticipated it)

10:30 PM Late dinner

12:30 PM Lights off

DAY 4

10:00 AM Mc Donald to meet our friend who will join our Kalanggaman Tour

1:00 PM ETD At Duptours Terminal tacloban going to Ormoc approximately to 2-3hrs travel

NOTE: You can try Tacloban New Bus Terminal in Brgy. Abucay. Ask where the vans are that go to Palompon, Leyte. Its direct to Palompon.The travel time from Tacloban to Palompon is approximately 3hrs, Php 150 per pax.

4:00 PM ETD Tacloban to Ormoc

From Ormoc Van Terminal travel going to Palompon Approximately 2hrs travel

6:00 PM ETA Find Hotel to stay for the night
