PALAUI DAY 2 CROCODILE ISLAND

CROCODILE ISLAND

The island looks like a crocodile's mouth from a far.

Its a crocodile shaped rock
You can climb up to this rock where you can rest at the top flat ground.
This island is not ideal for camping by the way because the shoreline on both sides disappears during high tide and the flat ground at the top of the rock cannot hold any peg for your tent and since it's situated facing the ocean, strong wind is mostly experienced.

We rested and took our late lunch.   Strong wind really chills us we are wet due to rain we dont even bearly taste our food.We stay only for 20mins  due to weather the wave getting strong we have to get back to our homestay.

Crashed corals and lots of cutie sea shells (umang) I dont know if that tagalog name is right.
They are everywhere...

Brittled stone

... at the small community of Palaui, We got a time to roam around and to mingle with the locals.

Palaui Elementary School as we talk to Ate Elsa the teachers is riding a boat from Sta Ana Cagayan. They stay in Palaui Island for 5days or during schooldays and goes back to Sta Ana Cagayan during weekends.

I got a chance to take a photo with these little shy kiddos.
