PALAUI DAY 2 BARATUBUT FALLS

PALAUI ISLAND TOUR
BARATUBUT FALLS

We woke up around 7:00AM to prepare our Island tour the weather is gloomy,
at around 7:30am we start to trek going to Baratubut Falls.

 We need to register first

Obligatory groupies before heading to the Falls.

Along the trail you will passed by this hanging bridge
"One at a time only!"

because the rain pours the trail becomes muddy and slippery. We were
very cautious with our step as we don't want to slide thru the mud.

approximately 2hrs of trek going towards the falls. We pass thru the rain forest and thru the deepest
part of it. Just because is was called rain forest. It was really raining all thru out the trek. We still
proceed despite the heavy rain, muddy and slippery road. What is important is we are able
to go to the falls.

The photo shows some of the plant we came across during our travel thru the falls. Some were green some where not. It goes to show that there is balance of nature in the place.

Tucked deep beneath the the forest lies Baratubut Falls where the cool and crisp mountain water cascades through huge rocks. The water was crystal clear. It was drizzling thru the rocks and it tumbled down from the top of the forest. The plants beside the water waterfall was nodding down gently.

It was freezing cold during that time so we were not able to take a bath in the falls.
