PALAUI ISLAND DAY 1

DAY 1

After our Callao Cave Tour we headed back to the town proper to have our lunch. We try to eat in a Local Eatery which prides of papaitan, dinakdakan, and of course, bulalo. What really caught my taste bud is their  authentic Tuguegarao specialty bulalong kalabaw True enough, It was really tasty and good for the cold weather there.

then after we eat, we look for the terminal of van going Sta Ana lucky enough that theres a guy (fixer) who offer his van heading Sta Ana
tawaran portion to avoid lang masingil ng sobra. So we got the fare, Van Tuguegarao to Sta. Ana Port – Php220 each.
The start of a long drive approximately 5-6hrs  


REMINDER: Month of February is not that good idea to visit Palaui, Maulan at maalon ang dagat. No choice kami no turning back we travel long long way kaya AJA lang!

Touch down! The weather really not good talaga...

WHERE TO STAY:
Most visitors stay at Punta Verde in Palaui Island where the locals of the island are situated too. They offer tent accommodation and cottage accommodation for Php250.00. Tent is included. You still have to pay Php250 if you bring your own tent.
As per the accommodation that we get, I contacted a local for a home stay experience. For Php200 per night per head we have a house with two bedrooms, living room, dining area, garden and two comfort rooms.

The local community in Punta Verde prepares a meal for its visitors. You can order for Php250 – Php350 per meal.
